This site is dedicated to my desire to share the beauty and wildlife in and around the Piedmont of N.C.. Sadly, many of the word's living creatures are in great peril! Both land and light pollution is disrupting the earth's equilibrium. The good news is that it's not too late. We didn't get here quickly but steps can be taken with urgency to preserve their habitat without destroying our own. Balance is the key to everyone's survival. So let each of us try to make a difference every day with our words, choices and commitments to help insure theirs and our own survival.
